Project: " The Making of Bloomers” about a knicker factory in the north of England, founded in the 1950’s by a young couple.
Client: Sam Moore, documentary animator. Initiated by Klangforum Wien (orchestra in Vienna). EU funded.
Location: Midlands; for screening across Britain, Europe and the States.
Brief: We provided technical consultancy during the making of the the 12 minute animated film “Bloomers”. This involved photographing over 10,000 images in our studio. We also made a short 5 minute film, "The Making of Bloomers" to accompany the animated documentary. This featured the animator and director, Sam Moore talking about the inspiration behind the film and the innovative working practices in its creation.
Produced: 1 x 5 minute film. Interview, animation and archive.
Results: The film has been shown at independent film festivals and on social media as a companion piece to “Bloomers”
"Working with Helter Skelter was a dream, they were engaging and relaxed but have tremendous attention to detail which really shines through in the final product. The Making of Bloomers has been a big hit and increased traffic to our project exponentially. I would not hesitate to use Helter Skelter again!" - Sam Moore - Film maker
