Project: An Undertaking

Client: re:collect, heritage and artists group funded by the Arts Council of GB.

Location: St Chads, Shrewsbury.

Brief: Part of "Shropshire Remembers” - a series of events to commemorate the men who lost lives in WW1. Our job was to produce photos and short films of an exhibition by four artists from re:collect. .

Produced:

A series of photographs to document events based around the exhibition and WW1 anniversary.
Images of the individual works of art.
One 5 minute film that explored the artists inspiration for each of their pieces.
4 x 1 minute films created from the longer film.

Results: The films were released over a week on social media (Facebook and Twitter) during the 100th anniversary week with the final longer film being shown on the 11th November. The viewing of the films gathered momentum over the week - with hashtags targeting the interested communities, both local and national. Cumulatively the films had over 10,000 views.
